There is no magic food to eat or medication to take that will miraculously raise AMH levels. Actually low egg reserve is not a crucial factor for the fertility. Women with very low AMH levels can still get pregnant if the quality of an egg is good.

3. Take Some Supplements

Fish oil and wheat germ supplements: Add 3000 mg of fish oil and 300 mg of wheat germ oil to your daily diet. Research has shown that the combination of healthy oils can help raise AMH levels and keep your ovaries healthy.

DHEA: DHEA levels increase until our mid to late 20’s then gradually start to decline. Supplementing DHEA help bring your eggs and ovaries to the best form possible. However, it is highly recommended to consult with a healthcare professional before supplementing.

Vitamin D: Studies have also found a direct correlation between vitamin D and AMH levels. So taking Vitamin D can may improve your AMH level and keep your ovaries healthy. However Vitamin D can affect calcium absorption so let your doctor know if you’re taking calcium supplements or antacids.

CoQ10: Ubiquinol has been shown to inhibit DNA oxidation (damage from free radicals), thus protecting the genetic code. A study published in Fertility and Sterility showed that supplementation of 600 mg of CoQ10 daily by older women improved both egg quality and fertilization rates.

Melatonin: This hormone is a strong antioxidant that can support cellular health. Research has also found that melatonin can also play a role on your fertility. Melatonin’s role on increasing the quality of a woman’s eggs by protecting them from environmental stressors may be beneficial to women trying to conceive.

4. Fertility Massage

Regular fertility massage could boost blood flow to your ovaries and uterus in order to improve your reproductive health. Find a licensed massage therapist to massage your abdomen every week except for when you’re menstruating.

5. Try Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine

Acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine could help regulate the hormones, improve the women’s ovarian function and egg quality, which will boost the chances of conception. Choose an acupuncturist who’s specialized in fertility disorders. If you’re planning on having IVF, get acupuncture treatments every week for 3 to 4 months before insemination.
